The Lafourche Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Small Business Matters Workshop facilitated by David Gravois from Make Waves Marketing Agency.

This workshop is built for business owners and professionals who want practical value from AI.

We begin with a brief overview of how AI has developed and why tools like ChatGPT are now relevant for everyday business work. You will see real use cases and a high-level look at AI tools beyond ChatGPT.

The session then moves into a live, guided demo of ChatGPT. We walk through the user interface, explain each core feature, and show how to use the tool effectively. You will see live examples, including writing content, organizing information, answering questions, and supporting daily business tasks.

To close, we take what is created in ChatGPT and use it outside the platform. You will see how to turn AI-generated content into a presentation in minutes. We also review AI note-taking tools such as Otter and how they support meetings, follow-ups, and documentation.

The focus is on speed, structure, and real business application.
