Administrative Assistant

The Lafourche Chamber of Commerce is seeking a reliable, organized, and friendly Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations and serve as a point of contact for our members and the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer phones, greet visitors, email responses
  • Assist with scheduling, filing, and general office organization
  • Provide administrative support for events, meetings and programs
  • Maintain records, databases, and member information
  • Assist with basic correspondence and office tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, email, etc.)
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Professional, positive attitude
  • Prior administrative or office experience preferred

Position Details:

  • Part-time hours (flexible, weekday availability required)
  • Office-based position (occasional off-site responsibilities, minimal travel may be required)
