Administrative Assistant
The Lafourche Chamber of Commerce is seeking a reliable, organized, and friendly Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations and serve as a point of contact for our members and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phones, greet visitors, email responses
- Assist with scheduling, filing, and general office organization
- Provide administrative support for events, meetings and programs
- Maintain records, databases, and member information
- Assist with basic correspondence and office tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, email, etc.)
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Professional, positive attitude
- Prior administrative or office experience preferred
Position Details:
- Part-time hours (flexible, weekday availability required)
- Office-based position (occasional off-site responsibilities, minimal travel may be required)
